A MEMORIAL CENTRE FOR MOTHER THERESA
CONCEPT
マザーテレサメモリアルセンターは、環境と共生する建築を探求している。自然と共存し、今後地球上で持続していけるシステムを持つ建築である。マザーテレサが地球上の人々に愛を振舞いたように、この建築は人間とそれ以外の生命体に愛をふりそそぐ。この建築は樹上建築のように木の幹の柱によって各スラブが持ち上がり、各スラブは緑化され、人の領域と自然を分け隔てる明確な壁は存在しない。自然と建築が有機的に結びつき、あらゆる生命体のための場となる。
自然の木々は、幹内部の細胞の死骸でできた硬い部分を主構造とし、主管・導管のストローのような管を通して水分、養分、葉で光合成により作り出した養分を運ぶ。この建築はこの樹木からヒントを得たエネルギー、設備システムが構築されている。
樹木を植えるように建築を建てることで森を形成していくプロジェクトである。

Keeping environmental destruction to a minimum,
this is Architecture which live together natural, and have a sustainable system.
Mother Teresa filled all on the earth with love.
As Mother Teresa gave love to all on the earth, this Architecture also will give love to all on the earth.
Architecture fused with nature appear.
This center floats from the ground by columns as trunk like architecture on a tree.
Walls which separate people and nature does not exist here.
Here, Nature and Architecture are connected organically and it exists as a place for all.
